[dropcap type=”circle” color=”#ffffff” background=”#ef7f2c”]N[/dropcap]o, we are not talking about Louis Tully (ala Ghostbusters) here, we are referring to the mythos that “inspired” the new central land entitled Pantopia scheduled to open in Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay. The new land will replace the outdated (and in need of a redesign) Timbuktu.
The legend goes that the “Key Master” dropped out of the sky in a hot air balloon at the entrance gate to the new land. This gate will tell a story of it’s own as well. There will be a water hole, shopping, eateries as well as a new free-standing Tower Drop ride called Falcon’s Fury. This will be the tallest one in North America, towering above at a gut wrenching 335ft. and tilting guests 9 deg. for a 60mph, face down free fall.
The area will include plenty of shaded queuing and relaxation spots for those who opt out of Falcon’s Fury.
Busch Garden’s push for release is scheduled just a few months prior to Diagon Alley in Universal Orlando and is hoping to capitalize on the early release before the insanity oh TWWOHP kicks into full gear again.
As more details about the ride, land and Key Master character are released, as well as additional artwork, we will keep you updated.
